What Worked
The Meyer lemon cheong was beautiful in this. Sweet, floral.
In this ratio, at refrigerator temperature, the drink is dangerously tasty.
Notes
I added just a toothpick tip of lemon yellow gel dye just to get it out of that pale lemonade zone and give it a bit more brightness. Don’t think I’d do this again, it ended up like a yellow sport drink.
Next Direction
For the next iteration, I think I will go with the traditional route of extracting lemon flavor with the liquor and then also mix that with the cheong just to see how far I can push the lemon flavor.
No dye next time.
